Weiterer Inhalt [Dt.:] Die Ausstellung "Contemporary Tibetan Painting" in der Peacuful Wind Gallery in Santa Fe war die erste, die moderne tibetische Malerei der Gegenwart in den USA zeigte. Auf Asian Art sind 31 ausgewählte Exponate dieser Ausstellung verschiedener Künstler zu sehen. Organisiert wurde sie in Zusammenarbeit mit der Gendun Choephel Artists' Guild, die ihren Sitz in Lhasa hat. Neben den Bildern gehört zur Online-Ausstellung auch noch eine längere Einführung sowie Informationen über den Künstlerzusammenschluss aus Lhasa. - [Engl.:] This exhibition at Peaceful Wind Gallery was the first major broad-ranging exhibition of contemporary art from Tibet to take place in the United States. The exhibition included paintings from many of the contemporary artists working today in Lhasa, the capital of Tibet and the heartland of Tibetan history, culture and religion. It featured the work of the artists of the Gedun Choephel Artists' Guild who have organized a cooperative gallery and exhibition space in Lhasa. The online exhibition shows 31 images from different Tibetan artists and contains also a introduction and an informative text of the artist cooperation of Lhasa.
